- help the Hostel Warden on maintaining the good health, hygiene, and general weal of the scholars
- help the Warden on maintaining discipline in the hotel and managing scholars' conditions as and when needed
- To be in charge of cataloging the academic programs to scholars as and when needed
- Assisting to preparing yearly reports as needed by the Warden
- Acting as the overall director and the administrator of the hotel in the absence of the Warden
